Psalm 26:7
“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.” A man after God’s own heart, David walked in his integrity. He trusted in the Lord completely. Psalm 26:3 “For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.” He had purposefully prepared his heart through His Word. “I have walked in thy truth.” Psalm 26:3 “I have not sat with vain persons” Psalm 26:4 “I have hated the congregation of evil doers” Psalm 26:5 “I will wash mine hands in innocency” Psalm 26:6 He did all of this with the intent of having a thankful voice to declare what the Lord had done. Psalm 26:7 “That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.” How thankful is your voice? How faithful are you to speak of what the Lord has done for you? Consider today what you can do to purposefully give Him thanks. It all begins with saturating ourselves with the Truth of His Word. Psalm 119:27 “Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.” Regardless of what happened yesterday… Regardless of what is happening today… Regardless of what happens tomorrow… How thankful is your voice?
