November 3 - Great Is His Faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23
“It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
 
What a comfort it is to know that God is Faithful!
 
We need not be consumed by the circumstances that surround us because of the Lord’s mercies toward us. His goodness, His love, His compassion – they are brand new every morning! May we remember when we open our eyes to each new day that God is Faithful!
 
1 Corinthians 1:9
“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”
 
1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
 
1 Thessalonians 5:24
“Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”
 
We, like Jeremiah, can say to the Lord “great is thy faithfulness”, but can the Lord say that of us? Does the Lord consider us faithful? May we strive to be faithful to God because He is Faithful!
