Proverbs 11:17
“The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.” If we want to obtain mercy when we need it, we ourselves its first be merciful. There is sure to come a day when we will need someone to show us mercy; therefore we must treat others how we would want them to treat us. Proverbs 11:18-19 “The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.” We must remember that we reap what we sow. If our wickedness prevails within our work, it is sure to find us again. Proverbs 11:20 “They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.” The way we conduct ourselves speaks volumes of the condition of our hearts. Our testimony in the eyes of others is determined by our actions and inactions. Evaluate your actions. Be merciful. Sow righteousness. Walk uprightly. Are you displaying Biblical Wisdom today?
