Habakkuk 3:18
“Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” In the midst of trouble, we have a choice to make. Sometimes the effects of our trouble are clearly seen. Sometimes the results are invisible to most people. Regardless, troublesome times either take away what was once there, or add something that was never intended. Habakkuk 3:16-17 “When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops. Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:” One word…the next word…is the turning point. Habakkuk 3:18 “Yet…” Despite what was gone, notwithstanding what did not happen as it should... “Yet…” How often do things happen just as we had planned or hoped? Rarely, if ever. Even when things do not go our way, we can choose to rejoice. Habakkuk 3:18 “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD…” Rejoice in Who you know. Rejoice in the Truth. Rejoice in His Word. Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.” Choose to rejoice in Him regardless of your circumstances. Habakkuk 3:18 “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Bible Reading: Isaiah 43-44 | Proverbs 15
