October 11 - His Word Is Good.

Proverbs 12:24-25
“The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.”
 
The cure to any burden, fear, or sorrow, is a Good Word.
God is Good, and therefore His Word is Good.
 
His Word is Good for our pain.
His Word is Good for our pleasures.
 
His Word is Good for our blessings.
His Word is Good for our burdens.
 
His Word is Good for our trials.
His Word is Good for our triumphs.
 
His Word is Good for every thing we need.
 
Whatever you require today, He is the Answer.
Rather than delaying or denying His Word, run and rest in Him today.
 
Matthew 11:28-30
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
 
If your heart is heavy today, rest in the Word and let Him bring you gladness.
