Proverbs 14:2-3
“He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him. In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.” As we walk with the Lord, our fear of Him grows. When we fear Him, we stand in awe of Him. The more time we spend with Him, the more we will know Him. The more we know Him, the more we will want to know Him. Psalm 86:11 “Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.” We are either walking with the Lord or standing still. In order to refrain from being stagnant, there must be action involved in our fellowship with Him. Walk while you are waiting. Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Walk while you are working. Deuteronomy 10:12-13 “And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?” Walk while you are worshipping. Psalm 143:8 “Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.” We cannot walk with Him without walking in His Word. Psalm 119:1 “Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.” Walk with Him today. Bible Reading: Jeremiah 25-26 | Philippians 1 | Proverbs 26
