Psalm 42:1-2
“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?” When we receive Christ, we have Wisdom. Our faith in Him determines the course of every decision we make. Philippians 3:8-10 “Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;” Each day we must choose Him by faithfully spending time within His Word. Proverbs 4:5 “Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.” The longer we go without a drink, the more we need the refreshment. When our body is dehydrated, there is craving for water that is instilled in us by our Creator. He gave us the ability to be thirsty. When our time with Him declines, our soul begins to thirst for Him. Just as our physical body needs nourishment, God placed within us the desire for Him. The longer we go without the Word, the more our soul desires Him. Psalm 63:1 “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;” Are you thirsty? Refresh your soul today with the Wisdom of the Word of God. Bible Reading: Jeremiah 31-32 | Psalm 34-36
