Proverbs 11:25-29
“The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it. He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him. He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch. He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.” When we serve others to be a blessing, we also receive one ourselves. When we are able to give something, we must not withhold it. When we seek to do right, we will obtain God’s favor. In these verses we find several actions: “watereth” “withholdeth” “selleth” “diligently seeketh” “procureth” “seeketh” “trusteth” “troubleth” Take time to ponder whether they would be considered wise or unwise based upon the context of this passage. Would you be considered wise by the actions you make today? Bible Reading: Isaiah 45-46 | Romans 15 | Proverbs 3
