October 6 - Wise Behavior.

Proverbs 12:2-7
“A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn. A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved. A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones. The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit. The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them. The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.”
 
The type of wisdom we possess determines our behavior.
Our conduct displays the type of wisdom to which we yield.
 
Good or Wicked?
Godly or Worldly?
 
Our thoughts…
Our words…
Our mouths…
Our houses…
…all are affected by wisdom.
 
When we wisely conduct ourselves, we obtain God’s favour.
 
Proverbs 8:33-35
“Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.”
 
Wisdom and favour are found in Him.
