Proverbs 12:8
“A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.” We can either shine for God’s glory or allow our flesh to dim the Light within us. Proverbs 12:9 “He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.” When we honour ourselves we lose even the most common things. Proverbs 12:10 “A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.” Wisdom and righteousness produce a realization that life is precious. Proverbs 12:11 “He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.” Working hard is rewarding, and it is unwise to follow after idleness. The world is watching how we conduct ourselves each day. Make the choice today to shine your Light for Christ! Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Bible Reading: Isaiah 53-54 | John 3 | Proverbs 7
