October 9 - Through Faith.

2 Timothy 3:15
“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
 
It is through faith that we receive anything that is of eternal value.
It is through faith that we understand the Scriptures.
It is through faith that we believe in Him!
 
When we take the time to know the Scriptures, we receive wisdom. We learn that through faith in Jesus Christ we are given so many blessings that our minds cannot fully comprehend.
 
Through faith, we have atonement for our sins because of His Blood.
Romans 3:24-25
“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;”
 
Through faith, we receive the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 3:14
“That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”
 
Through faith, we are saved by His grace.
Ephesians 2:8
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
 
Through faith, we are sealed and receive eternal life.
I Peter 1:5
“Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”
 
Through faith, we inherit God’s promises.
Hebrews 6:11-12
“And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”
 
Through faith, we can see God do the impossible.
Hebrews 11:11
“Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.”
 
We must believe to receive, and we can only believe through faith in God’s ability to provide. All things are possible, if only we would place our faith in Him!
 
Matthew 19:26
“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”
