Proverbs 10:8
“The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.” Those with Wisdom in their hearts love the Word of God, but those who love their own words shall stumble in their sin. Proverbs 10:9 “He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.” When we walk with the Lord, we are safe and secure in Him, but those that falsely portray themselves to be Christian will be revealed in due time. Proverbs 10:10 “He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.” We must be cautious of those around us whose goal is to deceive, and those who talk rather than walk. Proverbs 10:11 “The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.” When we speak about the Wisdom of the Word, we show life to those around us, but with the words of wicked is destruction. Proverbs 10:12 “Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.” The words we speak make a difference. Speak the Word in love today. Bible Reading: Isaiah 5-6 | Revelation 17 | Proverbs 13
