Proverbs 31:26
“She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.” The mouth of a virtuous woman is not always open. When she opens her mouth she speaks wisely. Ephesians 4:29-30 “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” It is wise to speak kindly. There is so much hate, meanness, and disdain all around us. We have the opportunity to allow our words to speak kindness in a destitute world. Ephesians 4:31-32 “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.” It is wiser to speak of the Law of Kindness, the Word of God. If we choose to speak the Word, we cannot speak out of turn. When our voice declares the Truth, we are always right. Psalm 119:13 “With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.” A virtuous woman is careful to speak only that which pleases the Lord. Psalm 19:14 “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” Bible Reading: Isaiah 25-26 | Romans 2 | Proverbs 19
