September 3 - Given Wisdom.

Proverbs 8:15-16
“By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.”
 
As the King of kings and the Lord of lords, Christ reigns. His grace and wisdom has put each leader in their position. No authority is given without His consent.
 
Daniel 2:20-22
“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.”
 
Although we may never rule a country or sit on a throne with a crown on our heads, we too are partakers of this same grace and wisdom through Him. Anything we are given to do is because of His grace. Anything we accomplish because of the wisdom that only comes from Him.
 
Proverbs 8:17
“I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
 
Though it may seem like He is miles away, He is there. He is as close as the mention of His Name, Jesus. He is there within the pages of your Bible, as the Holy Spirit reveals Him to you in ways you have never seen before.
 
Matthew 7:7-8
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”
 
If we desire the Wisdom that only comes from Him, we must delight in Him to know Him more.
